Practical course on fish transgenesis – applications closed!
Institute of Molecular Genetics and Czech Centre for Phenogenomics would like to invite you for the specialised training course on fish transgenesis.
The course will take place at IMG Prague from November 12 to November 14, 2014.
The participants will get practical hands-on training on the following subjects:
- Basic fish husbandry (zebrafish, medakafish)
- Transgenesis in fish using meganuclease and transposons
- Live imaging of reporter genes (EGFP, mCherry) in transgenic fish
In addition, theoretical lectures covering the topics of the course will be delivered. The language of the course will be both Czech and English. Each participant will be provided with printed material describing techniques practiced in the course.
