Radislav Sedláček elected new Chair of the ESFRI SWG on Health and Food

The delegations of EU Member States and Associated Countries to the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) elected Assoc. Prof Radislav Sedláček new Chair of the ESFRI Strategy Working Group on Health and Food (ESFRI H&F SWG).

The working group represents the ESFRI expert platform, which focuses on roadmapping and landscape analysis of European research infrastructures operated in the fields of biological and medical sciences and food. The working group is assigned with tasks comprising monitoring and assessment of European biomedical and food research infrastructures, and identifies possible gaps in their European landscape. The working group also aims to foster mutual collaboration between European biological, medical and food research infrastructures and other related European initiatives and programmes, and to maximise their benefits and impacts, when addressing grand socio-economic challenges.
