Research infrastructures at the BIOCEV centre in the sights of European Research Area and Innovation Committee (ERAC)
On the occasion of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU, on September 12, 2022, diplomats from the EU member states at the Council of the EU visited the BIOCEV center. This visit followed the excursion of the informal EU Council of Research Ministers, which took place on 21 July 2022.
The aim was again to present the large research infrastructures located in BIOCEV: the Czech Center for Phenogenomics (CCP), Czech-BioImaging and the Czech Infrastructure for Integrative Structural Biology (CIISB). All three infrastructures are fully integrated into the pan-European infrastructures Infrafrontier, Euro-BioImaging and INSTRUCT and provide their services in the form of open access. Scientists thus have the opportunity to use state-of-the-art equipment and expertise that they do not have available at their parent workplaces.
